Adv. Petrus Steyn is from Krugersdorp, Gauteng, where he is the owner of Futurescope Town Planners. He established Futurescope in 2005, following a number of years in national as well as local government. He obtained a Masters degree in Town Planning from the North West University and later also obtained a LLB-degree from the same university. In 2006 Adv. Steyn was admitted as an Advocate and is currently a member of the National Bar Council of South Africa. His interest lies in Planning Law and from this he was co-author of the book ‘Planning Law Casebook’ together with Prof Jeannie van Wyk. He is also an external lecturer at the University of Johannesburg where he teaches Planning Principles and Procedures.
