Ms. Tshepiso Lentsoane, a South African citizen, read Town and Regional Planning at University of Johannesburg and later University of Pretoria, currently studying with the North West university. She started work in 2001, her experience include working for both the Private and Public Sector. Furthermore her experience in land use, land development and spatial planning encompasses both the rural and urban environment.

Working for the City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality shaped her career and gave adequate knowledge to be appointed by the Department of Rural Development and Land Reform, where she dealt with the development of various policies, guidelines and legislation for spatial planning and land use management.

Ms. Tshepiso is currently working for Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality, employed as a Divisional Head responsible for Land Use Management; Land Regularization; Land Development Legal administration; Land Use Scheme Enforcement; Tribunal and Appeals; and Built Environment Legislative development and Compliance.
