The South African Cities Network [SACN] together with the Civic Tech Innovation Network [CTIN], Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs [CoGTA], Open Cities Lab [OCL], Journalism and Media Lab [JAMLAB], Our Future Cities [OFC], ICLEI Africa and many others will host the first ever Urban Festival 2020, themed Empowering the Civic. This virtual festival will run from the 1-31 October 2020 and culminate on World Cities Day.
