56th ISOCARP Virtual World Planning Congress

In the past months since the pandemic started, ISOCARP has been closely monitoring the situation to ensure the delivery of a safe, effective, and inclusive #ISOCARP2020 Congress ‘as planned’. In view of the uncertain evolution of the current pandemic, the substantial limitations to international mobility as well as the existing risks associated with holding large events in the upcoming months, the 56^th ISOCARP World Planning Congress “Post-Oil City: Planning for Urban Green Deals” is going ahead as a fully virtual congress with a range of events and paper presentations taking place within the period of 8 November 2020 and 4 February 2021. The physical gathering in Doha, Qatar has been postponed to November 2021 and will serve as the 57^th World Planning Congress.
