IDP OFFICER

Skills and Competencies
 Excellent Communication and report-writing Skills
 Proficiency in Microsoft Office including MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint programs
 Problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
 Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
 Ability to work under pressure.
Understanding of the local government environment.

Key Performance
Facilitate Integrated Development planning activities on behalf of the municipality. Collect inputs and submissions for the IDP Process plan and submit the process plan for approval. Monitor the performance progress of IDP Projects. Set up systems for community and stakeholder public participation process. Coordinate responses and comments on the IDP. Coordinate IDP review. Arrange IDP/Budget Steering Committee and Rep Forum meetings.

(d) Certified Copies of (Stamped as a certified copy for a period not exceeding 3 Months):
i. Identity Document/Passport.
ii. Work permit where applicable (Non-RSA Citizens)
iii. Valid driver’s license where applicable.
iv. Qualifications / Certificates.

Applications without the above will not be considered. Musina Local Municipality reserves the right to or not to make appointments. If no response is received from the Musina Municipality within 90 days after the closing date, it must be regarded that your application was unsuccessful. Correspondence regarding the advertised positions will be limited to shortlisted and successful candidates only. Shortlisted candidates may be subjected to suitable checks including but not limited to Security Background Checks, Citizenship/Nationality, Qualifications, Criminal Record and Employment History. Requirements

Minimum Requirement
a) National Diploma: Development Planning or Public Administration / Management or Economics or relevant equivalent qualifications
b) Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
c) Valid Code B Driver’s license
d) Clear criminal record
