Description

DEPUTY DIRECTOR: INTEGRATED ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
SALARY : R811 560 – R952 485 per annum (Level 11)

REQUIREMENTS : National Senior Certificate, NQF Level 7 (Bachelor’s Degree/ Advanced Diploma) in Economics, Business or Development Studies. 3-5 years of middle management experience. The following skills, knowledge and attributes are required: Advanced Computer Literacy, Financial Management, Programme and Project Management, Strategic Capability and leadership, Knowledge Management, Problem Solving, Computer literacy, Communication skills and corporate governance. A valid driver’s license is required.

DUTIES : Develop policies, guidelines, norms and standards. Manage the promotion and coordination of integrated economic development, and governance. Monitor and evaluate economic development activities, business regulation and governance. Ensure management of capacity building programmes. Facilitate promotion, protection, and enforcement of consumer rights. Manage and perform administrative and related functions.
