Voluntary Associations

The SACPLAN has approved the application received from the Committee of Heads of Planning Schools (CHoPS) to be recognised as a voluntary association by the SACPLAN. It is hereby confirmed that the Committee of Heads of Planning Schools (CHoPS) is recognised as a voluntary association by the SACPLAN in terms of the Planning Profession Act, 2002, with effect from 23 June 2016.”

The SACPLAN has approved the application received from the South African Association of Consulting Professional Planners (SAACPP) to be recognised as a voluntary association by the SACPLAN. It is hereby confirmed that the South African Association of Consulting Professional Planners (SAACPP) is recognised as a voluntary association by the SACPLAN in terms of the Planning Profession Act, 2002, with effect from 29 September 2016.

The SACPLAN has approved the application received from the South African Planning Institute (SAPI) to be recognised as a voluntary association by the SACPLAN. It is hereby confirmed that the South African Planning Institute (SAPI) is recognised as a voluntary association by the SACPLAN in terms of the Planning Profession Act, 2002, with effect from 18 June 2015.
